I was selected to be a part of Manifest Gallery’s 12th Volume of the International Drawing Annual a little over two years ago, and the books are finally back from the printers! I’m honored to be in this gorgeous publication made possible by their little non-profit gallery in Cincinnati, OH. For the INDA 12 Manifest received 1540 submissions from 476 artists from 42 states, one U.S. territory, and 28 countries. The publication includes 120 works by 76 artists from 20 states and 11 countries. If you’d like, you can order copies of this book through Manifest’s website!
I was recently contacted by Voyage ATL Magazine to be interviewed for their Thought Provokers series, which celebrates artists and creatives primarily in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Click here to read the full interview that was just published on their site.
I am so honored to be a finalist in this year’s Miami University Young Painters Competition that opens on Monday January 14!! I am one of 10 selected in the country to exhibit in this wonderful show juried by art critic and writer, Barry Schwabsky. This year’s theme was representational painting. On The 12th Day (2018) and A Good Plenty (2016) were the two paintings of mine selected for the exhibition. Awards will be announced February 8th at an artist reception at Heistand Galleries and the show will run until February 29. My painting, Dirt Rich, will be on display until March 9th at the South Carolina State Museum’s Lipsomb Gallery in their 30th Anniversary Juried Exhibition. I am honored for my work to be in such good company here and to have received 3rd Place in this exhibition.
