I’m honored to have two paintings, “Crow Effigy” and “Ladders to the Sky,” selected for the Florence County Museum in Florence, SC for their first ever 2025 Eastern Carolina Biennial. I’m excited to announce that the jurors (Kai Lin, Mills Brown, and Robin Aiken) selected “Crow Effigy” for the 1st Place prize!
The exhibition will be on view from March 20-October 19, 2025.
I am teaming up again with Mona Lerch, the powerhouse behind Women United Art Movement and Women United Art Magazine, to teach The Artist Intensive: Mastering Your Words & Winning Grants. I’m thrilled and thankful to be included in this Special Edition of Women United Art Magazine as a finalist for their 2023 Art Prize in Painting & Drawing. The feature includes a four-page spread with an interview.
Now thru May 26th I will be a Visiting Artist at the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, SC. I’m looking forward to seeing how my work will progress over the next 6-weeks there and to the new connections and relationships the experience will help foster.
I’m honored to be a recipient of an Arts Project Support Grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission this Spring. The funds will go towards my residency expenses at The Gibbes Museum of Art over the next 6-weeks!
